ABFF's 2017 Registration & Purchase Policies

 

Pass & Ticket Pick Up:

To maintain the security of your purchase, passes and tickets are not issued by mail. Items purchased in advance of the festival can only be redeemed in person at the ABFF Registration Center beginning Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Please check the festival schedule in June for daily hours of center operation.

To redeem your purchase, you must present your confirmation email along with a government-issued photo ID (passport or driver's license). If you have designated another individual to pick up your purchased items, they must have a copy of your confirmation email along with a copy of your ID (passport of driver's license).

Pass/Ticket Policy:

Festival passes (Splash, Sobe, Deco) and individual event tickets admit one (1) person to the events and/or screenings. Passes are not to be shared. Lost or stolen passes cannot be re-issued by the festival. Purchase of a pass or ticket does not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the venues' capacity and the festival's door policy.

Refund Policy:

Refund requests must be made in writing via email to [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase. Refunds will not be granted beyond 30 days of your purchase. Purchases made after May 2, 2017, are only eligible for a refund until June 2, 2017. Refund requests will not be accepted after June 2, 2017. Once refund request is reviewed and approved, ABFF will refund your order total minus a 15% processing fee. Refund requests must include a copy of your confirmation letter along with your name, credit card number, expiration date and security code.

All purchases made at the ABFF Registration Center June 14-17, 2017, will be final and will not be eligible for a refund.

Individual tickets: if an individual ticket holder is not admitted entry to a screening or event due to the venue’s capacity being reached, a designated ABFF representative must sign ticket indicating that the ticket holder was not admitted to the event or screening. Refund request for that event or screening must be made in writing via email to [email protected] within 48 hours of the event/screening.

Transfer & Upgrade Policy:

Requests to transfer any item(s) purchased from one person to another must be made via email to [email protected] no later than May 26, 2017. Transfer requests must be accompanied by a copy of your confirmation email and the name, email address and telephone number of the new designated pass/ticket holder.

Pass upgrade request must be made via email to [email protected] no later than May 26, 2017. The cost to upgrade will be the difference in the price of the passes advertised on the website at the time of the upgrade request, not the price at the time of the original purchase.

Lost Passes/Tickets:

Once redeemed by registrant, lost items cannot be re-issued by the festival.

Age Restrictions:

Please note that festival events serving alcohol are restricted to those aged 21 and over. Master classes are for those 18 years of age and older.

Entry to Film Screenings:

Entry to film screenings is on a first come, first served basis for BOTH pass holders and individual ticket holders. Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Entry lines form 45 minutes prior to the screening start time. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the screening start time. Once the doors open, ABFF pass holders will be granted entry for the first 10 minutes. Individual ticket holders will be granted entry after the first 10 minutes. After the first 10 minutes of the doors opening, pass holders are not guaranteed entry in to the screening. Refunds for individual tickets: If an individual ticket holder is not admitted entry to a screening due to the theater’s capacity being reached, a designated ABFF representative must sign ticket indicating that the ticket holder was not admitted to the screening. Refund request for that screening must be made in writing via email to [email protected] within 48 hours of the screening.
